If you were to sit me down and ask me what my favourite company currently going was, I would wholeheartedly tell you that it is Discord.
The way they operate, joke about, provide clear updates, and most of all, the product they provide. All of these add up to a company I feel good about supporting in any and all ways.
I say this because I’m about to throw a negative their way, and I want to be clear that it’s only because I love them, and want their service and product to be the very best it can be. Continue reading The Discord game store is fantastic, but has one pretty major problem
It’s official, we’ve got a release date! Yokai Watch 3 officially launches in Europe on December 7th, which is for whatever reason, a couple of months ahead of the US (they get it on February 8th).
Oddly, this is the first time we’ve gotten a Yokai Watch main series release anywhere near the US (we’re usually a year behind in Europe). Perhaps they felt bad and wanted to make amends. Continue reading Yokai Watch 3 releases in Europe on December 7th!
Surprise! Gen. 4 is headed to Pokemon Go. We’ve known about this for a few days now, but Niantic and the Pokemon Company have just gone ahead and dropped a full trailer, which is really damn nice, if you haven’t already seen it. I’ll link it down below.
They always kill it with these trailers, they’re honestly nicer than anything GameFreak has made in a long time.
We’re missing Stephen Fry’s voice this time though, booooo.
Continue reading Gen. 4 Pokemon coming to Pokemon Go this week!
It’s official. It’s real. They actually went ahead and released a trailer, at long last.
I, along with probably most of you, have been absolutely baffled as to why a trailer wasn’t shown off at TGS last month, but it’s here now and it looks amazing.
Oddly though, the footage all comes from the same demo they previewed, which raises the question of; “How much of this game have they actually built..?”. Continue reading Yokai Watch 4 finally has an official trailer!
Child of Light, one of my favourite games to release in the past decade, and one of the few games to take advantage of the sorely underused UbiArts engine, was announced to be coming to Switch recently.
And by recently, I mean two months ago, and by coming to Switch, I mean it’s out in a week.
But that’s not what we’re here to talk about! I’m sure you’ve seen it in the title at this point, but have a look at this here tweet from a Ubisoft dev: Continue reading Why is no one talking about Child of Light 2 getting announced?
While I’m tremendously excited to be able to play this game again on a modern console, the lack of a second screen is leading to some questionable, but ultimately understandable decisions with this port.
In the original DS game, enemy encounters were carried out over both screens, with each screen acting as a different “dimension” as such. Continue reading The World Ends With You on Switch has tweaked combat and it’s a little bit concerning
It’s no secret that I’ve been.. Well, hella hyped for this game. And yes, I was at the store for 9am this morning like the idiot I am, laughing as I grab the only copy in stock (looks like retail copies may be a little hard to come by).
But anyway, now that I’ve got it, and have played it all day, what do I think of it? Continue reading PSA: Dragon ball FighterZ is out now on Switch and it’s amazing
